Design Society

President and Founder

As part of the Design Society, I organised, hosted, and ran weekly workshops, lectures, and socials across product, graphic, fashion, and jewellery design, bringing together up to 130 attendees at a time. My role focused on creating inclusive, interdisciplinary spaces where students could share ideas, skills, and creative energy across disciplines.

I led the planning and delivery of the first Art & Design Winter Ball for Sussex and Brighton students, managing logistics, promotion, and collaboration across multiple student groups. Alongside this, I managed a team of four and worked closely with other Sussex societies and external universities to expand the reach of our events and build meaningful cross-institutional connections.

I also organised and coordinated a charity art and design exhibition showcasing student work, incorporating a bake sale, auction, and live music. The event successfully raised funds for WWF while celebrating student creativity and using design as a tool for social and environmental impact.
